Furniture Craftsman, Chris Clark
Everybody has a broken chair. Some are more broken
than others but everything is repairable or replaceable.
In our first case, it was replacement. Once a chair has
been through fire it deserves retirement. This one was
easily duplicated to finish the set.
This rocking chair was hilarious at the time. I can
still see the gentleman sitting on his tailgate shaking
his head, saying "I was headed for the garbage
dump and she caught me."
Well, you can't just throw away Gramma's rocker.
Linda Masek did a great job on the uphostery. It
was fortunate that we had enought leather left over
from another job.
The following pictures don't do me justice. Another
great job by Linda on the upholstery, but I didn't get
a picture of just how badly broken the wicker was
before I started my repairs. It was a lesson in
patience. I think it came out very nice.
